Want to Stay in Touch?

I get that we all communicate differently. That's why I have a lot of ways for you to stay in touch with me. Check them all out, and don't be afraid to join them all!

Social Media

The official Social Media account is BlueSky user @astropotamus.com. Anything else is a fake.

Discord

You can join me and all the other astropotamuses at my Cosmic Lens Discord server. There's topics ranging from general astronomy to gear, astrophotography, 3D printing, beer and wine (and cocktails!), role-playing games, and more! If you support me financially or by purchasing things from my web site, you'll get special access as well! Even more access if you choose to give monthly!

Mailing Lists

I have two mailing lists. I'm not sure which one I'll use more at this point, but the first is through Mailchimp and is one-way communications for me to tell you what's going on with the web site or some very important news that I think you have to know. Anything less important than very important will be sent on the Discord server or through the second mailing list. The second mailing list is from Groups.io and is a more conversational mailing list for those that prefer that type of communication among the members. Note that there are likely to be things discussed in one medium that are not in another, so you might want to join them all.

Videos

You can follow me on YouTube and Twitch. At this point, it's mostly streaming sessions of me doing solar astrophotography, but I'm slowly building up a library of how-to videos and other things of interest and I hope you'll join me there!

The Podcast!

It's still in the planning and prep stages, the the Per Vino Ad Astra podcast is a go! Join me as I virtually sit with a guest to share a glass of wine, beer, bourbon, tea, soda, water, or whatever (I don't judge) and discuss topics related to astronomy. It's more than professional astronomers and science people - I want to talk to the average person who's excited about space science, too! Check out the link if you're interested in learning more.

Other Support

If you want to help cover the costs assocaited with running this web site, equipment, outreach, and more, check out my support page for ways you can help out. Every little bit goes a long way towards helping me take the joys of astrophotography and astronomy to every-day people!

Until next time, clear skies, and I'll see you in the dark!
