📡 MISSION UPDATE: I'm heading to New Mexico in April for the Very Large Array open house, star party, exclusive tours, Star River Podcast interviews, and lots more! Join as a Pathfinder this month to directly fuel this journey and secure your limited-edition VLA Metal Print! 🚀

I am a time traveler, and I'm looking for fellow voices to travel with me in the stream.

Join the Current

The Star River Podcast Logo The Star River calls to anyone who has ever looked up. Whether you are a professional astronomer, amateur astrophotographer, or just a backyard dreamer, your voice is a vital part of the current. You don't need a degree or even a telescope; the only requirement is a love for the infinite.

The Ritual: Two Rules for the River

I ask only two things of my guests:

  1. Share a Drink: Whether it's a glass of New York Riesling or a glass of water, we start with The Ritual to ground ourselves.
  2. Talk about Space: Even if it's just the "awe" of looking at it. The River will do the rest.

Preparation Checklist

Before we schedule our journey, please ensure the following "anchors" are in place:

  1. The Permission Form – A simple release so I can record, edit, and publish our talk (and ensure I don't call you "Mo" if your name is "Morgan").
  2. The Tech Check – We'll record high-quality audio remotely. Please review the "Join a Studio as a Guest" guide to ensure your setup is ready.
  3. The Schedule – I book in small windows only a few weeks out to navigate my unpredictable work schedule. I typically record late afternoons and early evenings (Eastern).

Don't see a time that works? Contact me and we'll find a custom current that works for both of us.

What to Expect in the Stream

  • Audio-Only: We may use video to see each other, but the final experience is focused entirely on the voice and the story.
  • The Hour: Expect to spend about 60 minutes in the current. If the River pulls us deeper, we'll keep recording.
  • Pure Authenticity: I edit for "noise" (coughs and sneezes), but never for content. The conversation the listener hears is the one we had.
  • Human Connection: This isn't a technical interview; it's a bond. We share The Ritual to ground ourselves before we wade in.

I'm honored you're considering the journey. Let's see where the current takes us.

Until the next bend in the River... clear skies, and I'll see you in the dark!
