A Call to the Current

The Star River calls to anyone who has ever looked up. Whether you are a professional astronomer, a sci-fi reader, or simply someone who finds peace standing in your backyard under the night sky, you belong here. You don't need a degree, a telescope, or a title to join the conversation. We don't even have to talk about space; just be conected. If you feel even the slightest pull from the stars, or if the vastness of the dark makes you wonder about our place in it, your voice is a vital part of the current. The only requirement is a love for the infinite.

Our Journey Together

• The Format: This is an audio-only experience. While we may use video to see one another during the recording, the focus is entirely on the voice and the story.
• The Conversation: Expect to spend about an hour in the current. If the River pulls us deeper, we'll keep recording.
• The Authenticity: These episodes are captured in their original form. I lightly edit for "noise" (coughs or sneezes), but I do not edit for content, length, or clarity. The conversation the listener hears is the conversation we had.
• The Connection: It isn't about the tech; it's about the human bond. If we are remote, we still share the Ritual virtually to ground ourselves before we wade in.

Join the Expedition

• First, I need a release form so I have you permission to record, edit, and publish our conversation.
• Second, I need some minor logistics to make sure I get your name right and don't ask you the wrong questions.
• Lastly, you need to have the right computer setup for our conversation to be recorded. Click the link and check out "Join a studio as a Guest" for details.

Once you're ready you can head to my scheduling link to sign up for a time slot. I record the episodes at my office so I'm trying to do late afternoon or early evenings (Eastern time), primarily on work days. If you need a later slot or a weekend, email me and we'll work it out. I'm flexible. I only schedule out a few weeks at a time, because my work schedule is not predictable that far out.
